From observing the Sun and Moon, we learned about crops and tides, knowledge and learning that come from observation. But since this learning takes into account two celestial bodies, specifically the two luminaries, it automatically becomes Astrology.
Astrology is the study of the position and movement of the stars to understand their influence on life on Earth. The universe is alive and everything is energy. It is not only the Sun that sends it, each star is different and they interact by emitting them continuously. These energies reach the Earth and, as members of the whole, we capture them.
One of the main uses of Astrology is the natal chart, a “photograph” of the position of the celestial bodies at the precise moment of your birth. It is basically your map or, better said, your script. You only need 3 things: your date of birth, place of birth and a website that calculates birth charts. Your date and place of birth you probably already have, but you need the time because knowing it serves to establish the astrological houses. If you do not know the time, nor can you recover it, do not worry since you will still have some information to guide your own evolution.
Assuming that you have made a pause and have searched for your natal chart, it is time to talk about the chart itself. A birth chart is composed, among other things, of planets, signs, houses and the interactions that occur between them. Simplifying a lot, the planets are what, the signs how and the houses where. Today, 10 planets, 12 signs and 12 houses are considered. The universe is efficient to the maximum, so each planet, sign and house have multiple meanings, but since the main focus is self-knowledge, we will discover a psychological side, since each planet represents an aspect of your personality.

At this point, you already have some information about planets and signs, so you can start with a simple interpretation, combining the traits of the planets with the signs. The characteristics of each astrological sign are also needs of the soul. Each energy contributes something to the person and their environment, but at the same time, each one can express itself harmoniously or inharmoniously.
For example, Aries can express itself as a leader who sets an example or as a despot who abuses authority. Although free will allows you to choose which side you want to lean your behavior toward, since what you command also comes back to you, the key is to elevate your own energy, and this will elevate your environment as a natural consequence.
The astrological houses are another important piece of the puzzle because the facets of personality, as well as skills and needs, will manifest more intensely in the areas of your life corresponding to the houses where the planets are present, and to a lesser extent, where they are rulers, this will be discussed later.
